Who are Sailing Action?

We specialise in organising group entertainment principally involving the water. We have many years experience as SailingDays and Cflex organising and chartering yachts from our base on the River Orwell in Suffolk. Regular entrants in Round the Island race and Cowes charters and with longer cruises in and around the Western Mediterranean, particulary Cascais, Barcelona, The Balearics, The Algarve, Portfino and Tuscany, Cannes and St Tropez. With our local knowledge of the coasts of these areas we are able to put together an unrivaled itinerary that will exceed your expectations. Five J Class for the Palma Superyacht cup - see below

We will be there and with a 40ft sailing boat, chase rib and land side accommodation. Fantastic photo opportunities and a rare chance to see five of the J's racing, local guide and expertly put together. Please see below. Rib seats still available for this event on the 19th and 20th June 2013. £299 all inc of food, fuel for the two days per person.Click on the video to see what to expect.



East Coast UK events - 2013

Day sailing on the Orwell for May bank holiday. Two days available with full catering. Maximum of four people per day. Grand Soleil 37 before she heads off to Cowes for RTIR and then the Algarve. £125 per person includes lunch.

Pin Mill (River Orwell) Smack race and Barge match 28th - 29th June charter will be on the smack Pioneer to participate in race. Supper Ipswich docks. hotel accomodation can be arranged in the SaltHouse Hotel.

Mersea Week Smack race 31st August with chase rib following the fleet and supper in the Company shed on the island.

Colne smack race September 14th 2013 - up to 12 places aboard Pioneer Smack taking part in the race. Full dining on-board. £125 per person.



Rest of UK - 2013

June 1st - Round the Island Race, Cowes, UK. Chase Rib. It's an early start this year!

26th - 29th July - Plymouth Classics weekend charter to participate in regatta vessel TBA

11th August - Fastnet Race start. We have a ten person chase rib and there are still some seats left. We will watch the competitors and then follow the start of the race. Lunch will be on the Beaulieu river at Bucklers hard and is included in the price. Please call or email for details.

22nd September - Old Gaffers Association Centenarary Chase 19th - charter will be to participate in regatta aboard Amelie Rose (of Hungry sailors fame)

23-26 August - Extreme 40 Series Act V Cardiff Bay. Ashore accommodation,VIP hospitality and 5th crew participation onboard EX 40 Catamaran

Non UK - 2013

Routes Des Princes Multihull Race European Tour Lisbon stop over 12th - 16th June sailing charter, onboard accommodation on a 2013 Bavaria 36 ex Lisbon.

Superyacht Cup Palma, Mallorca 18th - 22nd June 4 J class entered - accommodation ashore in a hotel or on-board a 40ft Sailing vessel. We have a chase rib following the race for up to 10 persons. A full shore itinary by our guide completes the trip. Please enquire for the full details including Flight details and hotels in Palma. You can book just the rib trip or the full four days from £600 pp inc flights.

Voile de St Tropez Classic Regatta 27th September - 1st October participation in regatta classic vessel TBA. Hotel accomodation can be arranged for you.
